Executive Search
The backbone of all assignments (both research & executive search) is ESR's unique research process, which provides our clients with the best possible talent in the marketplace. In addition to managing research, ESR also offers traditional executive search services in which we go on to interview the candidates in person, conduct extensive reference checks, and participate in the final negotiations between client and candidate to ensure a successful hire. Some clients prefer these full search engagements for more complex and delicate searches or when the client lacks time or resources to manage the final phases of the hiring process alone. With our executive search service, ESR guarantees to provide replacement candidates if necessary.
More than 30% of ESR's assignments are executive search, and we have completed more than 600 of these full-service placements. Instead of charging a percentage of the candidate's total compensation—a system that incentivizes recommending only the most expensive candidates—ESR' complete search services operate on a negotiated flat fee basis to ensure that our interests are directly aligned with those of our client.
