Title of Search: Administrative Partner to CEO
Assignment Profile:
The CEO seeks a replacement for current Administrative Partner.
Search Strategy:
- Research an initial list of companies to target in the region, focusing on competitors and parallel industries but also including leading companies in other fields
- Identify Executive Assistants/Administrative Partners to Presidents, CEO's and other Senior Executives at targeted companies
- Differentiate candidates with track record developing and implementing processes, systems and controls that will serve as benchmark to other Administrative Partners throughout the organization
- Pinpoint candidates with 8-10 years of administrative experience and longevity in prior roles
- Determine which candidates have strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, Access, etc.) and experience coordinating rush travel and managing hectic schedules
- Distinguish candidates with extraordinary communication skills and experience interfacing with key customers/clients
- Screen candidates based on interest in expanding knowledge base and ability to give and receive constructive feedback
- Select candidates with superior follow-through and demonstrated success multi-tasking critical projects
Results:
- Developed long list of local, qualified candidates in leading companies
- Submitted candidates based on personality match with CEO and explored company cultures to achieve a fit
- Evaluated each top candidate quantitatively along three customized criteria
- Ranked top 7 candidates and presented them in detail to our client
- Candidate from list was offered the position and accepted
